Pretty Liar started with a simple conviction: that a neighborhood bakery should feel like a place you actually want to linger in. Not a stop-and-grab, but a place where the smell of butter hitting warm dough makes you slow down.

We opened our doors on Milam Street with a small oven, a well-stocked shelf, and a team that cares about the details — the crunch of a properly laminated croissant, the tang of a well-fermented sourdough, the balance of a well-balanced charcuterie board.

Today we're still doing the same thing, just with more regulars who know our names and a growing list of local partners we're proud to work with.
